There is a need for intermediate manpower which is technically savvy and capable of directing craftsmen and workers in accordance with the directives they receive from the engineers for the construction and equipments of contemporary buildings which are living, workable, spacious and can meet all kinds of needs. For this program, opened under the name of "Natural gas, heating and sanitary technology", it is very important to train intermediate people who are able to understand installation works, read installation projects, apply them to craftsmen and workers, draw projects in CAD software, and have practical experience in modern, contemporary and state-of-the-art technology. Dumlupınar University Tavşanlı Vocational School aims to train qualified personnel with the above mentioned skills in "Natural Gas, Heating and Plumbing Technologies" program.

The students who have graduated from the program may take tasks and responsibilities in gas stations, sanitary installations, heating, ventilation systems, natural gas installations, etc. in public and private sector;  or in everywhere needs these systems (houses, hospitals, schools, factories) and they may also operate their own businesses.

Students who have graduated from the program gain the right to enroll in undergraduate programs such as Mechanical Engineering, Installation Teacher Training, Industrial Technology Teaching, and Energy Teacher Training if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by OSYM. After the adjustment applied in these programs and four semesters of undergraduate completion, they are entitled to a bachelor degree.
